Terms of Use

Last updated 17 September 2026

These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the terms of any engagement between us: that is governed by the written proposal and contract for the specific piece of work, and where the two conflict, the contract wins.

What this site is

This site describes consulting services and what they cost. Prices shown are indicative starting points for the scope described, not quotations. A quotation is the figure in a written proposal issued to you, and only that.

Not advice

Nothing on this site is professional, legal, financial or tax advice, and nothing here creates a client relationship. Do not act on anything on this site in relation to your own business without taking advice on your particular circumstances.

Accuracy

I keep this site current and accurate as far as I reasonably can, but I do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be available. The figures shown in the illustration on the home page are examples, not a client’s real data.

Content

The text, design, code and images on this site are mine, except for third-party logos and quoted testimonials, which are used with their owners’ permission and remain theirs. You are welcome to quote or link to this site with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale, or reuse the design or code, without my written permission.

Links out

Where this site links to somewhere else, I have no control over that site and take no responsibility for it.

Booking a call

Booking a call costs nothing and commits neither of us to anything. Booking through this site does not create an engagement, and I may decline work for any reason.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
